Terry Bowles

President and Chief Executive Officer, Iron Ore Company of Canada

Terry Bowles has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of IOC since 2001.  Terry joined QIT-Fer et Titane du Québec (part of Rio Tinto Group) in 1976 and became Vice President Operations and a director in 1982.  In 1988, Terry was promoted to Senior Vice-President, Planning, Technology and Finance, and then Executive Vice-President in 1991.  He became President of QIT in 1996. Terry is a qualified chemical engineer and holds a Masters in Business Administration from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec.
