Remuneration
As an employee your benefits will include the following:

• You will receive a competitive base salary.
• Your base salary will be reviewed annually taking into account your individual performance, business and economic factors.
• You will have regular discussions with your manager to review performance, identify relevant career and development opportunities and plan appropriate actions.
• You will be paid monthly into bank accounts of your choice.

Allowances
A number of roles located in the Pilbara also attract allowances. Allowances are determined by role requirements; however, some common allowances include the following:

• Residential allowances (coastal) - for employees living in the towns of Dampier, Karratha and Wickham.
• Residential allowances (inland) - for employees living in the towns of Pannawonica, Paraburdoo and Tom Price.
• Fly-in-fly-out and commute allowances - for employees based at the Brockman, West Angelas, Marandoo, Hope Downs or Yandicoogina operations.
• Superannuation - in addition to the company contribution, the Rio Tinto Staff Superannuation Fund offers investment choice and insurance benefits. You will also be able to salary package your superannuation contributions.
• Housing assistance (new home buyer- Labrador City only).
• Salary packaging arrangements.
