Accessing the technology

HIsmelt technology licences are available to steel producers throughout the world.

In order for an organisation to construct, operate and maintain a HIsmelt plant the proposed user must first enter into a HIsmelt Process Licence (HPL) and engage an Accredited Engineer. The HPL is negotiated with HIsmelt Corporation and the licence provides the organisation with access to the HIsmelt patented process. In addition, HIsmelt Corporation is available for technical support to ensure a successful technology introduction.

There are a number of Accredited Engineers, as well as Accredited Lance Suppliers worldwide. HIsmelt Accredited Engineers include:
